We just finished our sixth year of a “New Approach to Religious Education” program, which we call GIFT. Our program involves the whole parish community, families, singles, couples, college students, teenagers, moms & dads, kids, grandma & grandpa, parishioners, interfaith families, single parent families, deacons, priests, and retired people. We come together once a month to learn about the Catholic Faith in a multigenerational setting. People come from neighboring towns just to attend our GIFT programs! The parishioners love it because it is quality family time and they like the fact that everyone is learning the same topic or theme through their own age specific learning activities. |
